KYB KG5437. Hilux front shocks.

I use these and i found the very bad build quality. Weak around the eye at the bottom.

Monroe do a equivalent but i don't no the part number

hope this helps.

Thanks! That really helps :D

What happened to them? What type of driving did you do?
How long did they last until they were damaged?

I was planning on using KYBs for driving around on the street, no track or anything like that. Just a shock that would keep my lowering springs captive.

Street use lasted abou 2000k's
at first i ruled at down as a bad set but its happened twice.

The car is my daily driver. I really dont think there a good shock in my application. But they may work fine in a AE86 as the seemed to for a freind of mine.

the trd rear shocks for ae86 come in at least three different lengths- for the price you just cant beat them.

There isnt many choices on the Trd website, only standard length ones in adjustable and fixed rates. Where can I find out more about them?
