Centre diff is making clunking noise.
Cracked the seem weld on the passenger side floor. Can see through to the ground.
Thats wat you get launching the car from 6500rpm with 19psi

I only missed 1 gear throughout the entire day. had an intercooler hose blow off in one race when i launched haha.
Other than that i was doing consistent flat 12's.

Not bad for a practically standard evo

Was a bloody good day, glad the weather held out. Pretty stoked with my time and also trap speed. Didnt break anything either which is always a good bonus. Got 9 runs in which i think is dam good coz we're usually lucky to get maybe 5. Was good to catch up with some of you guys.

jesus maybe I should buy an evo lol, best 60 ft I could manage was 2.4s :?, but i couldnt get the hoosiers sticky enough, dragging the car down the track with the rear wheels skidding .
Comparing to others that were in the 13's, I need to be around 2.2 60ft or less, my trap speeds were around 106mph, just need to sort the bog in 2nd cos staying on the limiter in first so it doesnt bog, is costing me too much time lol

My traps were pretty consistent. 109mph - 110mph.

I think the only way i was doing 11's was just launching the sacks off my car lol.
I was racing on 17's with toyo proxes T1R's with 20psi pressure.

I was getting 1.7 - 1.6 sec 60 foots consistently.

Still managed to finish 3rd overall and win prize money

I was having to brake really hard after the line to make the track exit.
My speedo was off the clock going over the line.

If you miss the first exit there's always the exit at the end of the runway that all the doorslammers etc. use

The Volvo ran a PB of 14.1 and also ran a trap speed of 99.98mph, bit of a wank as he's been trying for 13 seconds and 100mph!! Broke the transmission, it's been a bit dodgy since the crash when it got water in it and contaminated the trans..

found my wastegate gasket had blown out, and was hanging on by one bolt :?
the volvo does pretty well though!, looks like hes put a bit of time into it.

I went back an raced today at the test and tune day, cost $10 bucks which is great coz i got another 13 runs throughout the day. Once the comp cars started laying down some rubber the track started to get really sticky.

Last run of the day i did a 13.12@107 with a 2.09 60 ft.

Same thing can happen at the other kind of racing. I love the holier than thouishness of people who are only into circuit racing, its all speed people.

Couple of black r33's turned up that i hadnt seen previously. Wernt that impressive running very high 13's and low 14's all day. The twin turbo v8 supra thats always there came and did a mid 9 i think. One of the pro comp cars did a 7.34 which was pretty impressive. Near the end of the day the track was alot better than it was on saturday.
