What's this I heard on the radio this morning about Singapore having the worlds first night time grand prix next year?!

EDIT: It would appear to be legit... http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2007/10/7040.html

Keen to see F1 cars running banks of Cibie Superoscars on the front wings. Should also run them on gravel, at night.

Will be quite a spectacle!

Unless he knows something all the world's automotive press does not then that's not the case. In fact it appears to be the other way around with the FIA rejecting the manufacturers suggestions for engine changes :?
The extension to the engine freeze comes just days after the manufacturers involved in Formula One submitted a proposed engine rules package for 2010 to 2013 that was intended to help reduce costs and promote more environmentally-friendly technology.

Bit a slap in the face for the engine manufacturers 8O

That's pretty stupid of him! Anyone else might have done just as well - but the fact remains that not many of the other drivers could have done just as well in their rookie season! I'd have paid to have seen Michael Schumacher do what Hamilton did in his first season! (And don't get me wrong - I'm a big Ferrari/Schumacher supporter but Hamilton's done a very very good thing for the sport)

Yeah, its not like he was gonna stay. And Max didn't exactly say any other driver would have done as well, just that if Hamilton wasn't so good the hype would have been around one of the other rookies. Lets face it, it was an awesome year for quite a few of the non big name drivers and I think next year will be very exciting.
Dig a hole for the next man and you'll fall in.
