At work tonight I managed to get the 1st and the 2nd off

Soooo this means I shall race in my first drag meeting after stepping out of a junior dragster about 5 years ago :D

Cant wait :D :D

Hopefully all going well i should be there racing to. As long as i dont run into any issues putting my gearbox back together.

Im pretty determined to give my tired old engine a 12 before i retire it :P

Gotta go better than a 2.09 60 ft to do that tho, which is going to be a challenge.

You're looking to retire it? Whats next? I really want an EBC to get the car actually running a proper 1bar of boost - I think a 12 would be easy pickings then. Still undecided if I'm going to watch or race at the next drags.

As cool as brad's idea sounds, im guna put the 4e pistons into a 5efhe and see how 18 psi treats it.

I'll be assembling my gearbox this week, putting motor and box back in this weekend, hopefully be all sweet for the drags :D .

do you use launch control? flatshift or anything like that?

Nah my link is a v4 dont have any form of launch control or flat shifting at all, dont even have a short shifter or anything special. Driveline is stock with the stock open diff. Was running staged boost switching from 9 psi to 18 once 1st started to bite.

Planning to be there, even though my car currently has no gearbox and the gearbox is in palmy :P
