Xbox 360, Wii or PS3

Yeah ive clocked it then agian less than a week ago i got call of duty 4 and clockeed that single player...

I still belive hole heartldly psn have dropped the ball allowing the xbox to be the favour in my mind and im baseing that off owning and playing both units for at least 6 months, not just what i read on a forum.

the longtivity of the 360, better network support certainly play a huge part beacuse when you clock a game the only thing left is online play.. and right now unless psn pulls its pants up with some serious updates im going to contunie to get more and more angry at it.

Well i managed to pick myself up a brand new xbox from TradeMe for $400 so pretty stoked about that. Rang xbox customer support first to see if purchasing a console like that off an auction website would have any effect on the warranty and he said no as long as you have the serial number.

Plus xbox 360s have a 3 year warranty now so still within that warranty by a year and a half

The three year warranty only covers the FRAG, anything else is still under the normal warranty (Not that much else goes wrong)

i didnt want COD4 at first, being an old school GRAW fan. but i gave it a go and man was i impressed. i'd dare say it will be the best FPS on console for a long time.

Online play doesn't really matter to me. I prefer games with a good story or are good to play with friends round. So many games these days have stupidly short single player modes.

I am an oldschool GRAW fan as well - can't get enough of the game (try 7 guys, 3 lcds, 3 xbox360s, 3 copies of GRAW, one network hub & numerous bourbans for one weekend - its insane).

Have to try my hand at COD4 but got way to many other games to command and conquer first

trust me, COD4 is that good its worth playing first. i feel kinda dirty for liking it so much

I owned a Xbox 360 for a day, before it destroyed my copy of DirT with the dreaded faulty DVD issues.
Swapped it for a PS3 the next day. Very happy with the unit, but still prefer the XBOX controllers.

I have since my posts on here retired the ps3 as its hopeless and got a brand new xbox 360.. Best thing ive ever done.

Anyone that has only one machine will never have the best opinion but i challange anyone thats done time on both to tell me they prefer the ps3 vs the 360.. and still stand my the claim that anyone unsure and in the market is welcome to get demos of both from me at my house..

xbox is locked down like most consoles.
Sony lets you install linux or other operating systems on the ps3 and upgrade the hdd without voiding the warranty.
If you use it as a media center youll like the fact that it plays divx movies.

i run a media center to my xbox360 as well, and have no need to expand the harddrive size, and what good is installing linux on it?

guy i work with had a 360, then got a ps3 instead , had it for 2 weeks before he took it back and got a 360 again.

what games are you playing adydas? i'm mostly COD4 and forza 2, with some other stuff inbetween.

i wouldnt take the ps3 back but i certainly understand anyone thats had the 360 and the ps3 will truely know what im on about.. Im sorry but playstation have dropped the ball in a huge way..

sadly just halo3 latley, i sold most of my games to replace them with ps3 games as i didnt see my self ever been able to afford or justify a new 360 but that hasnt panned out.

I had cod4 on the ps3 and clocked it and i have it on PC so no need or waste to get it on xbox now.. But im amped to get R6V2 i was a HUGE HUGE fan of the first one and will be of this one..

i got a few other games cheap so there tiding me over for now, ricky ponting for the sport option, halo3 for the fps and there pritty much occupying me till march / april.

good tv makes xbox sooo much better.
Just bought a 50" which is such an improvement over my old 29"

I had a wii, had to few games that kept me interested.
Bought an Elite and sold the wii.
Don't like PS3 controls at all, I think that playstation 4 or what ever it'll be called will be something special.

PS3 is sony's game cube.

I only have a 27" HD lcd, which is small but quality is very good.

i'm not gonna buy a huge TV until LED televisions become mainstream , then lcd/plasma will be very cheap cheap.

mass effect is a good game if you're into RPG's adydas. and you can't own a 360, like cars and not have forza 2
