I have discovered the absolute pinnacle of PITA.
A Z32 VG30DETT.
What weirdo came up with how they would fit everything in that engine bay? Why is everything so difficult on them? why? why? why? To get to one part you need to move another, but to do that you need to move something else, and to do that the front bumper (or similar) has to come off. GRRRRRRRRRR

with the exception of very new, large displacement audis and similar i dont think i've seen an engine bay as packed as a 300ZX TT. even then its a close thing - i feel your pain.

i recall having to take intercooler piping or some such off to change headlight bulbs!

Toyotas are easy, and GT4s aren't really that bad to work on all things considered. Try Audis with W8s and things like that, they make ZXs look like a picnic.

And Revhead, harden up  Just pull the rubber panel off inside by the wheel and its easy as

I recall a thoroughly miserable few days spent stripping down a mates non turbo 300zx trying to get at a burst water pipe - it was a pig too. I can only imagine the TT ones being a whole lot worse...

On the subject of difficult to work on nissan's, has anyone ever tried to get an oil filter off a gtir pulsar?
