Little accident on street sprint today

Postby pureadrenalin » Sun Dec 02, 2007 10:34 pm

I had a little whoopsie while racing today.

Didn't do much damage, just broke the indicator and bent the rail the radiator attaches to.
Big ditch tho. Passenger crapped herself.

Got pulled out, then two rounds later:

I kept locking the rear wheels up.
Wasn't my day :(

Na, weather was good.
All the water is from the barriers that were half full.

twice.... :(

I've just swapped over to new R888 fronts, and used bridgestone re045?? rears.

I kept locking up the rears and getting the ass all over the place.
I'm going back to street tires :?

Why not get some R888s for the rear.

Or if you are wanting to get rid of your R888s what size and price you looking for.

I need to get some R888 rears, but was feeling a little poor so got some second hand tires instead.

Bugger, was wanting to pick up some 888's cheap lol.

Would you not be better off in an MR2 having your best on the rear, weight power etc. and fiddling with tyre pressure to get more balance.

I wish my rear wheels lock up that easily, usually it takes some persuasion in the form of 2nd gear and 6krpm + clutch.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.
