Factory Tuning.. i dont remember whats differnt but i belive it has a higher boost cut.. 17 psi as apposed to 14.5 as well as some better factory tuning from toyota to help with the increased power the RC version of the st185 gets.

Alltrac.net has a chart that shows the RC has more power over its non RC counterpart.. This is the best 2 min research i can be botherd doing but im sure somone else that knows can weight in as to whats up.

Its not only a non RC thing, my facelift has a 17psi cut and has a different part number to both prefacelifts and RCs.

Are the power differences really the ECU? Oh, and afaik, wiring is different between prefacelifts and RCs.

i dont know to be honest.. but its what im told but it has to be sold with the afm to work,so its either a combo of the ecu and afm or its one or the other..

either way theres a ecu and afm for sale with the starting price ono.. if its not the ecu or the afm tho, how does the car make more power?

( id like to think the final drive change? ) but perhaps someone with tech knowledge will weigh in.
