But wait there's a twist, this has quantum technology behind it!

Sixth Element Fuel Saver Power Bar Simply plug the Power Bar into the cigarette lighter socket on your automobile and experience the magical effect of it is German quantum technology in both horsepower increase and fuel saving...

The Basic theory of the product is to conduct the free electrons induced by quantum technology into the electrical circuits inside the automobile to enhance the efficiency of electrical conductivity, thus increasing the response speed of the on-board computer and achieving higher engine horsepower as well as better throttle response.

According to the actual test result by the Option and SPECR auto-magazines a 4-5HP/DIN increase is measured on the German Bosch professional engine analyzer, while an average fuel saving of 32 miles per tank of gasoline is achieved during road test.

I reckon they think using the word "quantum" over and over makes it sounds like it'll work

with this sort of thing I'm always torn between the two sides of,

"this sort of trash shouldn't be allowed to be sold", and

"anyone who buys this sh|t gets what they deserve"

Im open to the idea something 'may' be made which does have a positive affect/result on the running of an engine...however I fail to see how something plugging into the ciggy lighter would ever do more than have a nice led.

I think the people who sell them have been sold by another so do believe in the product generally. Also, they tend to have little to no real automotive knowledge.

By my uneducated understanding the theory sounds correct. Electric signals move faster around the computer system so it can respond faster.

Beats me how a blue butt plug makes that happen though

Should report to the Commerce commission tbh. An individual can be fined up to $20,000 for misleading conduct iirc

I thought Quantum effects would require the whole design to be that of a Quantum device. I didn't think you could just "plug in something" and add quantum benefits.
Kinda like fibre optics. It has to be all fibre optic design supported otherwise you're stick a piece of thin glass in a hole and praying for a miracle...

Not to mention.. in this case i hardly think the ECU of a car is really getting any significant delays, microprocessor speed would be the real crutch. I could be wrong. I've never looked at it. Or (IF you could enchance standard devices using quantum stuff) would this speed up the operation of a micro too?

Faster electrons not equals Faster signal !!!!! Not even saying that faster signal somewhat affect the ECU in anyway, if it is timed at certain speed, and infact if somehow magically it would affect the clock speed, it would have a negative effect (timing will be off so everything else).
Idiots!!!
In fact electrons move with the crawling speed (A few cm/h) when we are talking about signal voltages (ie 0-12V). With AC electrons do not move large distances at all - they vibrate.

Can every one in this community report this trader as fraud please.
I am sick of the stuff like this appearing on trade me.
