Toyota Supra Mk3 Heater Control

Postby suprakid » Tue Dec 11, 2007 9:24 pm

My heater control slider isn't working properly, causing the valve not to open which means no hot air, is there anyway to fix this or do i have to go to the wreckers and get a new one?

Also, does anyone know anything about the factory alarm? and repair?
My supra has what looks to be a 5* alarm that isn't working, it's got bonnet switch boot switch de-mobiliser, sirens under the seats...

But it doesn't work.

And would it be hard to convert to a digital dash?

As with the heater control mate, pull it out and crack out your soldering iron and your patience and resolder every joint on the back of the board

The solder cracks over time and causes the heater not to go, Fixed my car first time

And the alarm, if its got a bonnet swich boot switch etc its not factory, best bet would be finding the black box and seeing if its wired in to the car, or someones removed it, otherwise a auto sparky will sort it our for you in no time

Digital dash, you have to swap over the entire dash loom, also you need the speedo setup from the dig dash car and the fuel sender
