GZe clutch adjustment?

Postby TRD_ZERO » Fri Jan 04, 2008 10:04 am

Ok so i just did the clutch on my ae92 gtz ANd damn it was a sh!t job. The one issue im having is that the clutch engages when the pedal is almost all the way out. Where do i adjust it or what do i do to get the clutch engaging almost as soon as i start letting the pedal go?

The only way to possibly try and overcome this problem is to both bleed any air that maybe in the system (always helps) and if you still get stuck you can adjust the pushrod for the clutch master cylinder on the pedal, of course you'll need to get under the steering column under the dash area to gain access to it. lossen the locknut for the rod and turn clockwise or anti-clockwise, whatever way makes a difference. And when you do that you'll need to readjust the pedal freeplay and height. Just as simple as loosening the 14mm nut on the bracket above where the clutch pedal stops.
