Toyota Blade & Blade Master

Postby rolla_fxgt » Sun Jan 06, 2008 7:44 pm

I just saw a blade master in Dunedin today, & thought it odd that such a new car was in NZ, presumably 2nd hand. I looked on the Toyota NZ website & see they have imported some for the signature class program, but it says only till dec 30th.

Can anyone shed any info on if Toyota are planning on keeping importing them 2nd hand or otherwise?
They seem a pretty cool car, a 3.5litre v6 in basically a corolla body with some slight body mods & stiffer suspension?
Ending up with spare parts in assembling things since 1983

Quick Google finds the Lexus V6 power plant with 200 odd kw.
Does the Corolla have the same drive train lay out? or is Front Wheel?

Autocourt bought it in... I went in for a look, but they wouldn't let me drive it.

I assume that one of the staff now own it as it's not on the yard, but parks just in behind there.

It lives on drivers road, there's a newish (perhaps 2 years old) house on your right as your going up with a wide driveway & largish garage & it lives there. They also have a bright green vitz rs, so who knows perhaps its one of the owners of Autocourt?

The vitz is owned by one of the staffer mrs, so yep, definately the staffers then... not that I'm stalking them for their wicked choice in cars.

It just seems so wrong :(
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Was it a black one?

My parent were looking at one thru toyota, but were a bit put off by the price, still it may happen though.
