Who in CHCH can install springs for me?

hey guys, i bought some superlow jamex springs for my trueno today and ive rung around a few places to get them fitted but i thought i might ask here also.. so is there anyone in chch who could fit the springs for me? i will pay you of course.

Its very simple to do yourself... just go into a hire place (McIntee or Hirepool) and hire a set of spring compressors (I think it was $5 an hour last time I got them).
Then all you need is a big spanner.

mag and turbo will chuck them in for not much coin i imagine.
other than that, to do it yourself you just need these tools
- spring compressors (they clamp onto the springs and you wind them down to take the tension off the strut assembly whilst you un-do it)
- 10,12,14,15,17mm spanners and sockets/ratchet. Probably safe to have a 19 and 21 too, dont know the top-nut size on a trueno.
- powerbar or a longish (half meter or so) pipe you can slip over a spanner (dont use it on the ratchet, you will ruin it)
- CRC or other penetrating oil
if you want to be anal about it, then get a pot of antiseize for when you put it all back together, makes it easier to get out again if you need to.
on an AW11 (not sure if thats the same as a trueno or not) this is how i do it
- jack car up
- remove wheels
- unbolt strut from hub knuckle (i think thats the term, it bolts on right at the bottom end of the strut)
- unbolt the 3 nuts holding the top of the strut to the chassis at the top of the strut tower. DO NOT UNDO THE BIG ONE IN THE CENTER. only unbolt the 3 around the 'outside'
- remove strut from car and place on ground behind you.
- do this procedure again for the other side if you want or you can do it later
- take the strut you have removed and clamp the spring compressors on, opposite each other on the spring. try and have them placed with the claws as far apart from each other so when you wind it down, you compress more of the spring.
- using a socket or spanner, tighten the spring compressors evenly. so wind it down 5 times on one side then 5 on the other etc.
- When the spring will rotate freely (ie, no tension on the top hat of the strut) start slowly undoing the top nut of the strut. you may have to put it in a vice, or CRC the top nut as sometimes they are quite bed in.
- when you have the top nut off, place everything in a line so you know which order it goes back. then remove the spring, take note of how it goes (which way etc) and put the lowering spring in its place. install everything back in order and do up the top nut. you probably will not need the spring compressors but you may.
this process is for doing the rear of a AW11, the fronts are pretty much the same, so i hope it gives you a rough idea of whats involved. its really just a case of taking it slow and working out how it all goes together.
you will need an alignment after this work.
