Part Number for AE111 Superstrut Front Brake Pads

Postby BigDon » Thu Jan 17, 2008 8:20 am

Guys,

Can someone please tell me the correct part number for AE111 Superstrut (i..e twin piston) front brake pads?

I'm getting some Mintexs for it and need the number so the guy at race brakes can get the backing plates. I have some spare rear pads off my non-super strut race car to put in the back as they are the same.

Cheers,

John

Any idea what it costs to bond onto the backing plates?
I just grabed some M1144 today ... at a very good price ;)

In a way wouldnt it be easyer just to get some new pads an throw them in ur car for the mean time, then let them use your old pad backing

The last bill from 0800 Brakes was for the following (super strut brakes)

DB1352-M1166 - $250

DB1147-M1166 - $200

Its also worth noting that you dont need to supply backings if you fork our another $25.

+ the cut the government takes

DB1352 front

DB1147 rear

Race brakes just bond whatever compound you want (1144,1155,1166,1177) on to the backing plates. About 25 a set for an ae111.
