halves in suspension JZA70

Postby d1 mule » Wed Jan 16, 2008 10:13 pm

heya im just wondering if there is anyone that would be keen to go halves on a set of adjustables for a J/M/G A70 supra?

reason being iv got a JZX81 and the rears out of 70 series supras fit in but ill have to make my own front adjustables, and the best idea i can come up with is go halves..... i dont really want to buy a set from japan too much hastle

cheers

I always thought they were iinterchangeable. i could be wrong though.

supra front is double wishbone, has the eyelet at the bottom and 3 studs equally spaced at approx 100mm center to center

yeah just found that out, JZX81 is the same set up as AE86, GX70,GZ10,KE70 etc etc just with different bottom bolt spacing, so to the best of my knowledge macpherson strut

What sorta kit are you looking for? So im guessing you would only use the REAR shocks from the kit?

How much?

yeah id be after the rear.

um either BC, K sport, D2 etc preferably BC

the car is going to be a "budget" drift car im hoping to build it for under $7k so cant really afford to splash out on Cusco, Tein, HKS etc

a rough guess would be $1000-$1500 tops for complete set

na "standard" setup but none of the local (BC, Ksport, D2 etc) make anything for the front so ill just convert the standard struts to coilovers.

why dodsons??

and Postfach, yeah thats what iv heard, ment to be better quality than Ksport and D2, i think BC make the Apexi and Buddy club Adjustables too just different colours etc
