Does anyone know of someone preferably in Auckland but doesn't have to be, that can do the following.

Custom make windshields Front/Rear and side windows to fit not standard windows frames on a car?

what would be the legality of having custom rear and back screen custom made and have it stained at the same time, like on most new toyotas,

would one need a cert ? is it even worth pursuing ?

I guess that one would just fall under window tinting, so if you follow the rules, 35% and no tint on front i'm sure it would be fine.

just a guess, but I don't see the difference between a film on the window making it 35% and the window itself being tinted

we aren't able to tint the front windshield however out of the factory many cars come with like a 5% tint normally bronze or green. so would that be allowed?

you talking about the top of the windscreen? if so I think the legal requirement of that is that it doesn't extend down further than what the sun visors do.

no. on my VW golf there is a standard tin on the front windshield in bronze. with the naked eye its very very hard to tell its even there. it is designed i believe just to help with glare.

I think thats allowed because it comes like that from factory & its such a minuscule amount of tint the powers at be turn a blind eye, & they know when its broken it will be legal again
