Hmm sausage sizzle fundraisers? Group garage sales?
Taupo or Welly sounds good. Always wanted to go to the south island but money as usual is a good preventative!

I reckon Taupo would be good as you could hire the track out and run multiple things there like at Manfeild last year that was areal fun day and you can do a cruise like to rotovegas for the day and there's plenty of touristy things to do but I no its a hassle for the S.I guys to come up so maybe down south probably they should get a shot for keeping piece and harmony.

anywhere between Palmy and CHCH is doable for most people. roughly the same distance from the ferry.
if Wellington was the location, i'm sure it would be easy enough to get the regular autcross paddock as well as the Slipway track. does anyone have connections to the proving ground that the Porcshes ? use

I'd be keen to help organise something in hamilton for fundraising. But I am too unorganised to do it alone.

Yeah looks like its Wellington, there's a area dedicated to MM08 at the very bottom of the main index.

Perhaps this topic could be moved there mods?

I would hazard a guess they've already made a decision but it hasn't been announced yet, given that an admin posted saying about MM08 and accomodation in Palmy. That post however has now disappeared.
