help stuck in taupo wiv broken car

Brett and i are in need of a tow back to marton from taupo my alternator has died on my mr2. will cover gas. please txt me on 021 127 3095 as we are at the a1gp. any help apreciated. thanks karyn

I hope you got home ok. If your really still in need of help by 11.30am today I could help as long as you payed for 110% of the gas. Couldn't help any sooner since I have work.

You'll probably find some one alot closer by now anyway.

all sorted now, many many many thanks to Sam for coming up and rescueing us :D

A1GP rocked though! and at least we made it there before the alt decided to throw its toys outta the cot!

Thank you Sam I love you mwah.

Taken the alternator out and it appears the muppets who did my exhaust didnt disconnect the battery and have royally fried the alternator. So now on the hunt for one.

I swear this MR2 is a rotor in disguise :(

Anyway back home now thank god, and thank you telecom for allowing my phone to go on the web.

Could've been worse --- could've fried the ecu.

If it is true and the exhaust shop can be held to account then that's pretty poor. That's basic vehicle safety: pre-apprenticeship training that.
