well in the weekend I took a Subaru Forrester for spin and was actually impressed... not enough to buy it, but still.

Also took AJz GTT for a spin, in true toyota fashion it is much more plain than the Subaru, I'm keen on it, but the mrs doesn't like the 150000kms it has done.

I'd think that the gas bill would be a bit too high... oh, and the mrs wouldn't let me get one on account of them being butt ugly.

thats what I keep telling her... she seems all intent on this less kms = better thing, and mutters things about resale... like she thinks I wont keep a car for long... dunno where she gets that idea, I mean I've only had about a 10th of the cars that some of the guys here have... I'm only on my 6th or 7th in 13 years.

tell her you never think about resale on a used jap import....
unless you get a STEAL and resell straight away..... you lose.
price on those GT-Ts has dropped about 5-8k in 3 years.

i paid 21k over 5 years ago for mine which was bog standard when imported as a 4.5 grading 8O

you can get some good looking wagons around the 11 - 13k some i seen on trademe get 11k with some mods

least if you buy Ajz least you wont have a white one ..... they are fricking every where these days!!

they are resonably economical and still look modern looking as far as street appeal goes and factory off the floor power output they are no slug

Buy AJz GTT. It looks so sad just sitting there on the side of the road.

Why don't you just repower it with a 3.5L V6

Then you get rid of your engine problems.
