don't worry about what car it is going into that is of no consequence. fabrication is not an issue and i assure you it will fit.

We had a gearkit made for one of the levins for a W box for the 2JZ throughsomeone in Auckland, Ralliart maybe? quite a few years ago,
but there was still a 6 month wait on it.

well i am thinking of doing something different. using a 3sgte its 4wd so way less hassle. now the next question is who makes a race gearbox 'out of the box' no custom for that engine??

seriously??? they're implying that you are a school kid, I thought it was obvious.

During the school holidays there are many questions like yours asked, and invariably when the school holidays end, so do the aforementioned questions.

well, I believe that one of the Altezas came with a 4wd (auto) box and the 2jzge... not sure on their limits, but you could probably slap a turbo on the side, give it a bit of a boost with a piggy back computer...

However, I think that flygt4 was right with his comment
my theory is if you were going to be doing 650-800hp then you would be inclined to buy a decent sequential box and setup

That sort of HP isn't cheap.

The purpose of the vehicle is something that I don't think you have mentioned, drag is harder that circuit, and circuit is harder than street on gear, and if it is to be street driven, that sort of HP is just silly.

it will be used for circuit but has to be road legal.

Sorry, but theres so much of this type of shite all over various forums that ive been seeing lately. Will this rb26dett fit into my honda city but still run fwd? Can I put a lexus v8 into my civic because i love my civic but v8 pwns my bum. So understandably you can see my outburst is somewhat proven.

If you are now serious on the high power gt4 check into the toyota echo i believe it was in the uk running st205 3sgte lots of power and ran consistent 10s. Very sleeper. Not sure if he was running a custom box/diffs/xfer case etc, but seemed to be a very good package.

Again my apoligies for the comments, hopefully you will prove us wrong in not being another forum "stroker".

650HP and looks like stock apart from the front mount IC... although I doubt there would be many cars able to be infront of it for too long.

cheaper build than that one though. 400hp is the aim for mine.
