Sacrilege or kool???

Postby stalker » Tue Jan 29, 2008 1:45 pm

Just wondering what peoples thoughts were on.....a S5 rx7 with a lexus V8 (1uz-fe) engine in it.
I like the 7's, just never really been a fan of the rotor engines...but i do love the toyota engines, so yea...

kool? or just plan sacrilege?

Ive been in one that had a 3.8 v6 holden engine in it, that went pretty hard, lit up the rears rather easily. A decent engine like the 1UZ would be farkin awsome in one :D
2011 Ford Mondeo tdci.

Hey, at least it sounds like a 3s.

+1 from me. I've been thinking about this conversion except with a series 6.

Could be fun round a tight track like taupo...

Cant see where the corner is, there is a bloody great blower in the way....

solution! more gas and look out the passenger window while applying handfuls of opposite lock :)

In case peeps haven't realised, that's a 1UZ under monstrosity that does the job of a turbo, only weighs 10 times as much

Also, Mark Holland is building/finished 2 FD RX7 drift cars wth hardcore na 1UZFE's, and they look bloody well sorted too.

They have been running build pics in NZPC for a while now.
