Its usually $20 on the gate if you don't have a ticket. Pits are extra.

I'm gutted I missed it. Mate I was meant to be going with pulled out at the last minute, and no one else could be bother. Only other option was to take the girlfriend, but didnt wanna have to pay for her. Did you manage to get any photos at all?

Should have just got her to jump in the boot when you go through the gate.

Yeah the Can Am Cars were bloody awesome. The sound of a huge displacement v8 engine with no mufflers at full revs is enough to cause movement in anyones pants.

Did anyone see the dodgy yellow schnitzer? It looked like a deathtrap when it came onto the front straight with the back end swinging wildly and skipping across the tarmac.

I took a few photos in the pits on Saturday:

My dad was out on the track taking photos too (he'll be posting more in the next few days):

Those Can-Ams were $&#$% awesome! If you missed them this weekend its worth the trip to Levels to see them. Was a pity there weren't F5000s though.

Yeah was well worth going for a look. I reckon you're not human or you're not alive if the sound of the can ams didn't do it for you blasting down the front straight 260 odd km/h

unsure whether they will run at Timaru, a wee bit noisy.
i hope they do though. will be heading out this weekend anyway, my oss has recently acquired the ex-Reg Cook Shellsport Sunny, and has managed to get an entry in.
