two door bucket seat laws

does anyone know the laws surrounding chaging the seats in a 2 door.
i was told that if you have a 2 door at least one of the seats (drivers or front passenger) must be a recliner to allow passengers exit.

is this true?

hmmm. what a pain cause it hard to find a reclinable and a full bucket that match :lol:

i was looking at the trd buckets $1500 NZ plus shipping no recliner tho.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

there are better brands for cheaper than that aye.

Twin recliners an option? or getting one recoverd to match the other? though this would be a rather pricey option

momo are cheaper than that, and have matching reclining and bucket seats, as ive seen that done before.

momo recliner is UGLY. i like the look of the bride but damn they are not cheap.

the TRD seats are $1500 each plus shipping for a full bucket see here http://trdparts.jp/english/parts_trd-recaro.html

130,000 yen at todays excancerate is 1,500 NZD

compare that to this bride seat which is 2,400 + gst

thats a big difference.

i just dont know if the trd seat is FIA spec or not.

it will be sometimes. and those few times it will be raced it will have to have a FIA seat.


and i figured having a normal and one recline able seat that are FIA cert is better than having a spare seat for racing only.

Remove the back seat and belts... problem solved.

I bought 2 Bride Zeta IIIs (FIA approved) and 2 sets of rails for cheaper than that.
