does anyone know of a solenoid that could be run in the fuel line to cut fuel supply off.

was thinking about having something like this installed in the gt4 with a small hidden switch so when you switch the car off you flick the switch and no fuel to engine. so if anyone did get past the alarm they couldn't go very far.

fuel pump relay...

If you put a block in a fuel line, wouldnt it stuff the pump because the pump would be pressurising the hell out of that one section of hose?

i have already thought of that its possible to put pressure fault switch into a pump. what it does it measures pressure build up and once the pressure hits a certain point it cuts power to the pump.

a solenoid would work i guess but not quite as cool :lol:

You could allways shop around and make somthing up..

few parts like this in 12v

And some wiring time etc you could cut the fuel pumps power, route it via any form of switch you want.. A latching pushbutton so you push it in to use it and have to repress it to kill it, to a twist switch.. to an emergancy button as below.. im considering somthing simlar just dont know what for at this stage...

Just get a switch, then get a suitable contactor block (also 12v) mount it somewhere in a box, or in the car your happy ( glove box say ).. then run wires to it..

yea a push in push out button would be best i think as they are less conspicuous.

um i dunno lol prolly black and as small as possible for the current required.
not sure what kind of current the fuel pump draws.

Take it off the switch line of the relay then its pulling next to no current.
