i use cheapies for areas that arent high pressure, ie pre turbo intake,and are prone to less movement, but joins that need a lot of movement or are close to heat etc i use brand name ones for.

i had a cheapie and a brand name joiner side by side, and they physically feel quite different. also had a cheap one nearly melt right through due to being a tad close to something hot whereas the brandname one seems OK in that spot untili moved the pipes round a bit to get it away from the heat.

I only really seem to have real problems when running up over 20psi, or extended periods or raping.

all mine are cheapies, everywhere, one thing that will rip a joiner is bad piping design, ie the piping being slightly too short or long, causing too much stress on it when connected. i dont use the overpriced t-bolt clamps either (use the thin ones with the raised ribs for the screw to grip on) and never had a problem with the clamps ripping the joiners from being thin, and that is with 25psi of raping all the time.

yeh alot is to do with the piping as you say, mine isnt perfect and with the standard engine mounts the engine twisted a crazy amount.

Yeah, I was talking to Michael earlier today and he mentioned something about that. I'll talk to him tomorrow and let you know what it was that he said.
