If you have no joy, spend the $1 and get a VIR check, see if there is a security on the car then contact the finance company...they wont tell you who owns the car or any personal details, but when they find out that LTNZ has f**ked up yet again they will contact there client and then they can contact you.

If that doesnt work, then depending on what part LTNZ have screwed up (if its put your details down as the owner of that car) get a "Motochek" of your car details, past and present around the same time as they put that car into your name and you might get lucky and find they just crossed the names over.

If none of that works, let me know what LTNZ have done and ill see if i can pull a few tricks........they dont call me stalker for nothing u kno

Sounds like you have heard of this sort of bungling from LTNZ before. and yeah, they put me down as the owner of that car, and refuse to do SFA about it.

Luckily i have managed to get hold of the email address of the head of regulatory sevices at LTNZ.. He is going to get a politely worded letter that points out how screwed their system is when i can be arsed writing one.

Yea, i would highly recommend that you get that letter written fast and get it cleared up asap as the amount of work that is needed if that owner of the other car does something naughty/illegal would make sorting the current mess out look like a day at the beach.
Proving to the cops that the mitzy that you have never owned but is currently in your name that just did something that will cost YOU a $750 fine, is not fun
