Reccomendation for IC spray bottle

Postby NZVengeance » Wed Feb 13, 2008 8:44 am

i am looking for a bigger bottle for the IC spray in my gt4. at the moment it uses the waster fluid bottle and tbh it doesn't last long.
i looked at the flat 12ltr one that comes with the spec c wrx's but they are around $600

anyone else got any ideas?

Have you actually made your system functional?

Do you notice a difference?

When I decided to get mine working, the sprayers were pretty ineffective imo, and I ripped it all out. Actually gave it to Redmist a few months ago when he was hoarding 205 parts. Heh.

but plastic is alot lighter. seems like a waste. i guess some thin aluminum would work. but id have to build in a glass float level.

Use a 20l fuel cell in your boot, would look awesome as well.

In the subaru with a TMIC the watersprayer was incredibly effective, with a FMIC it wasn't so we now use it on the radiator, which works a charm at keeping temps at a nice level.

The ST205 rally cars use a 40 ltr tank sitting where the back seat sits. Its drained in a single stage. I'm yet undecided as to wither or not I'll run the stock spray bar as it flows heaps and doesnt spray very evenly. I may just run a few window washer sprayers depending on pattern.

I've two custom made 16 ltr tanks, one behind each of the front seats.
The answer is Helmholtz!
