Can someone please explain how does automatic/tipronic gear changes work?Would like to know what actually happens inside the gear box.
The reason for knowing this is something that I have noticed in my car during gear changes in tiptronic mode.Once I make my gear selection,it is delayed by a couple of seconds before the actual change happens. Is this normal or should the change be instant?
Is the gear box giving up?What would be the signs for an Auto gear box failure.Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

All to do with ring gears, planet gears and sun gears.

No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.
