It'll be a 2E-E proably, so has at least another 100,000k's to go before its even run in
The kit and wheels are ugly however :?
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time

6750 wouldnt be far off an AE11* carib or similar i would have thought, would be a much better buy.

corolla wagons are gutless enough with 4AGE's, i cant imagine owning one with a 1300, not to mention 80kgs of fibreglass and some ugly 17s to turn... and certainly not for that price!

but thats just me :P

to answer your question, the engine will be fine for at least another 100,000kms as long as it gets oil, water, and a cambelt when its due!

that front kit looks like a giant floppy foreskin, noone wants to see that.

buy it, sell the front and back kit, sell the wheels, buy new bumpers, buy some work wheels, 4age or 4efte it, stop talking bout it,
do it, do it :D

if you 4age it, i should have finished my 2e - 4age transplant so could offer moral support

can buy exactly the same car minus the bling bling and the bodykit for 1/3 the price.

I got my 94 Corolla which is alike that one you posted, white and sedan, aircon, full factory everything, 4E-FE 1300cc, tidy, 175kms on the clock, $2350. The only thing needed was to swap out the thermalstat, it was stuck open causing the water to be cold.

That costs more than a 1998 1600 Corolla wagon set me back nearly two years ago. That was the newer shape too.

Lousy deal. Avoid.

haha you have to be kidding me, the guy links a wagon, so you suggest a MR2?

fuel efficiency seems to be a big part of why he wants that wagon, seconding the notion to shop around a bit more and find a nicer example of the same car, or a better car for less.

was the above list a top 10 for most thrashed out shitbox stereotype boyracer cars in the country?

I would be looking for a toyota caldina, or a honda accord wagon , or ae111 carib wagon , nissan avenir etc etc.
and avoid anything with lowered suspension or large rims if you want it to be reliable ,economical daily driver. It tends to just chew out tyres and make them expensive to replace, with the added bonus of looking siily, like you wanted a pimped out car but couldnt quite afford anything better.

haha looks like you guys are havn fun...yea im not stupid enough to pay 6750 for it... cut a deal for quiete a bit less but i am unsure of it . lol
some people like it quite alot dont...lol

i currently have a levin ae11 4age but im now looking for a wagon for work since im a builder and sumthing i can take down to the snow.... was thinkn of a turbo wagon...will not resort to auto...so tht means 10g wagon costn $70+ a week on gas..and prob alot higher later this year by the rate gas is going.........
or a cheap runner like this where u can get 700kms from a tank!! but yea i see what u mean about the looks. u eitha like it or hate it...personal preference i guess.

yea theres the toyota carib...4age..descent car for your money but mmm the shape just dosnt appeal to me.

i'd like to see this 700km per tank proof :P

700km is irrelevant anyway if you are going to load it up with tools etc it will be working hard to cart it around and will use more gas than something doing it with ease

and going to the snow with that would be worse than taking the ae111. Unless of course you own a "Mr Plough" jacket?

therefore. get yourself a ke70 wagon as a work hack and keep the ae111 for weekends etc..

buy a set of snow tyres for the ae111 too as they are cheap as on trademe as they get taken off the new imports :P

so many ideas..... probably none of them good

If you want it for the snow, what about a 7a-fe 4wd carib?
