No not true. Only skylines with the attesa 4WD can do this afaik.

And all of the JDM spec GT4s have rear LSDs. Only poor souls with export models have the option of not getting one. And less power

Remove front driveshafts and weld up the centre diff. Then watch your driveline break in someway. There was discussion not long ago about this. GT4s just arent designed to hold up to RWD.

seen it done before by removing the front shafts, and locking the centre diff,

was awesome

for the 20 minutes the rear diff lasted

Exactly. And if its not that, it will be the gearbox getting completely destroyed

It's an ugly Celica, at least you've put it to good use for that 20mins.

No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

hahah the st185 is a cool car (hence why i made my mate buy one  )
Just not meant to be rwd, the money it would take to do it properly it would not be worth it.

it was a very fun 20 minutes i beleieve,
thought it would handle really horribly being east-west and designed for 4wd but it seemed really controllable and predictable

but the damage, i should try and get a pic, the whole rear of the rear diff casing is missing.. not worth it

Most subarus you can pull a fuse and make it 2wd... however it's FWD... nothing quite like a FWD tyre shredding WRX...

not saying it's a good thing, just nothing like it.

Ahh justens and jamies car :)

Jamies car ( the ta22 ) is now AWD , using GTR skyline running gear mated to his single turbo 1uzfe

Justens car runs twin KKK turbos on a 1uz driven thru a super expensive tremec gearbox to a modified JZA70 rear end in the GT4 cradle ..

Both cars are worth more in engineering hours and dollars than most of our souls combined ..

Both are unique one off examples of determination , skill , and pure dedication to a passion ..

Both have been touched my me personally in one way or another

heh - my old group A had the original ebngine out of justenst St185 , and i WAS going to buy that car but passed on it - luckily it went to a good carse ( though group A purists cried foul for 20 seconds before bathing n its auwesomness )

Jamies car is unbelievably smooth .. Even with the v8 rumbling away at the time i saw it and was in awe of its presence - you didnt know it was packing a killer punch till he blipped the throttle and the world shook :)
