Ha not yet. Should arrive tuesday, been some issues with the transporters. Didnt bother with getting you to check it out in the end, seeing as you have had dealings with him before.

And hey, whats the worst that could happen. A blown engine?

Ha ha ha dont even joke about that. That would be worse than an empty engine bay!!!

And yip, my old one had a slightly bent chassis rail. Explains why my old single turbo setup wouldnt quite fit, despite originally coming off another FD.

So what is the damage then??

Yep easy as to get the power from them.. Checked it out and after toning down the extrapolation mine will be an easy 300kw at the wheels on 16 psi.. Which is 400 horses

But im going to buy a Toyota runabout.. Maybe.. If its ok under the hood :)

So when's the rebuild happening Skin?

Car turns up tomorrow morning hopefully, and will start diagnosing the problem then. Will start pulling it down asap :)

I have a goal of getting 220kw at the wheels on the series 8 computer, fingers crossed

You should get that no problems.. Factory boost for a Series 8 should easily get that for you. Are you going to use your modified intercooler?

Injectors might be working quite hard thats all at 220kw but will be fun for you after the Fielder

Car arrived last night. Did compression test on it, 95 psi on the front and........ 0 psi on the rear  Will start the removal process this weekend and begin the strip down of the engine and see exactly how much damage is in there!!!

Hmmm, I smell a project thread coming

lol...zero compression - thats awesome.

With a piston motor you'd have to be missing a whole piston for that lol.

Keen for some pics, how about a project thread? 8)

Dont make me come down there!!!!

Yeah, thats the thing with rotaries, they are either going or they arent. But to have no compression at all on the rear rotor im picking at least two seals have let go. Usually at least one face has something!!

But will definitly be doing a project thread
