gtt intake question

Postby gleem » Mon Mar 10, 2008 8:22 pm

i've taken my airbox out and im not too sure what to do with this pipe, do i just leave it hanging there or what, it makes a real annoying sucking noise and when you put your thumb over it it turns the car off >_<
Am i ment to put this in the new intake piping or intercooler piping? Also that plug that goes in to the airbox what should i do with that just leave it dangling there?

cheers!

you need to put a breather tank in there ,same as a catch can with a filter on it . That pipe is your cold start. Just tie the temp sensor up some where or if you want you can plum it in but not necessary.

idler feed, 15mm breather filter should fix that problem. dont think you need a catch tank as you wont be catching any oil

edit: yes and ditch the hose

as in an enclosure . If you just put a filter on 1, you will have constant hissing noise 2, idle fluctuation
