to chassis, ride height can be anything you want, exhaust, body kit etc don't count in the 100mm allowance

Yeah whoops, forgot to mention that it is 100mm from a structural point.

When you chop a spring you completely chjange the spring rate of the spring and it no-longer does what it is supposed to , whether you chop half a coil or 2 or 3 it doesnt matter , if you car is wallowing which i suspect it will be then the problem is your shocks , if you have new shocks and standard springs from the ee90 you will be surprised to see the difference it will make . 8)

I see there's a street legal(i think) M1 for sale on ebay, pretty sure that'd be worth 500k or more

And you'll find a 2E isn't exactly expensive if you want to chuck another on in the place of that one.

And to Akane, those springs must have been done a while ago or cleaned up nicely so you couldn't tell they were cut. My old EP71 had a cert for cut springs which were too short so were wired in top and bottom. That was a fair while ago now though

I got another 2E for $250. Runs good. No leaks and no smoke.

Has 240000 on it. Mine has 244000 but hasn't been looked after. Revs nice tho. But has no power up top.

Now has a crack in the exhaust manifold.

Swapped the engines over. Has the same power but is smoother through the rev range instead of the jump at low revs.

Also replaced the front shocks and went back to the standard springs. Car is a lot more planted on the road on corners and sits flatter. 8)
