The first thing I have done when I got my GT4s is to remove turbo timers.

Not to mention turbo timers clash with most car alarms...

If i use th TT on mine I have to wait till engine stops before I can arm the bastard, pain in the butt!

I have a turbo timer on my car. It came with the car. It's been tied in with the alarm so I can leave the turbo timer on and alarm the car and walk away. I do use my TT, however it's only on for like 45 secs (probably not much point if it's only 45 secs right?)
As for morning start-up I dont' generally "warm it up" in the driveway. Maybe for like 30 secs, while I change radio station/cd or whatever.

yeah mine was installed in the car when i got it, i just set it to 30secs, seemed to be the right amount to match up to faffing around after parking up somewhere.

I have one on my Lancer, a thread like this has started mainly because of people putting the foot to the floor. Mine is vented straight down and can hear it if I go foot to the floor at 4000rpm or so. I dont shift passed that in town. That just draws attention to yourself therefore getting disco lights behind you.

it's true, i was on the motorway going to north shore one day, and had an evo on one side and a gsr on the other (both were mates as saw them talking to each other while driving)

they kept giving it to them and getting the externals going right beside me, quite annoying so put foot down to get ahead of them, lets say they were all noise, MUCH louder and horrible sounding than mine. it's a mitsi thing, might jsut be the turbos or something.
