I don't recall TOM'S ever making a lip spoiler for ST202. And it's not really their style. It looks more like D-Speed or possibly BOMEX.

That does look like the lip known as the 'Toms lip' (whether it is made by Toms is another story), it came on some of the later Celica's - the SSII and SSIII. It may have been an option (dealer option perhaps) like the SSIII splitters.

This post (especially the 2nd page) has info and some part numbers (the site is american based, but they're talking about the SSIII specifically): http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=39945&st=0.

The 5th page has a pick of the lip with this number on the box: 08154-20090-A0.

This'll be a number relating to Toyota USA most likely.

A TOM'S part will have the prefix i.e. 08154 followed by a TW.... number.

08154-20090-A0.

that looks like a toyota accessory number

toyota accessories are generally specific to the country of sale of that vehicle they are for.

I knew I saw proof that it was "Tom's" somewhere, and after 20 minutes of searching I has found it :)

yeah I have that key (picture number 9 )lol
whats picture number 8? I think I have that under my set.

yeah I am a member of 6gencelica, but since thats US based most of the part numbers are US dealer numbers, and don't work here (I've tried on some other parts)

the front lip side skirts and rear splitters look quite nice there. the sideskirts dont raise up at the rear

so no idea on the NZ/japan part number?
(I tried Tom's site but nothing)

i think you will find that the "TOMS" on that page refers to those 6 items directly under the TOMS logo.... not the whole page

there is no nz part number for that spoiler.... it will be the same as the jap one. IF it is still in production (very unlikely) it will be ex japan, and not cheap at all

I think someone on 6gc said it was some form of air freshener? :?: Seems a bit random though

Oh. I just assumed that because next to that was the whole car all Tom's branded with the front lip on it, it was associating itself with it. Meh you'd know better than I would I imagine :D

There are a couple of similar front spoilers. One by a company called Aero Magic and another by Z-Glide.
The difficulty is often getting these companies to deal with the export market.

I contacted a toyota dealer he gave me the price of $2,293 +GST (EX-Japan) for the lip, but he did say he'd look around for me for it, so I might be able to get it cheaper deal or something.

Do you think if a body & panel shop bought the lip and made moulds of the lip and sell them. eg trademe (I'd get my lip back after they take the moulds)I'd make my money back?

(did that make sence??)
