Does anybody know the details - start times, entry cost etc?

Heard on the radio that a 6-second celica from Aus is making an appearance?

$25 per person and the competitors have to be there at 8.30 so would think the gates would open around then too.

yeh hes helped my mates out with theres nissans, was ther yesterday mates gettin him to drill out rb25 head for vvt

yeh that left the other day for an exhaust they went to put it on trailer but was 2 wide hahah so had to be line towed, supposed to have a decent amount of power guy reckoned 700hp or something

last i heard it was retired from drag racing and just a pretty showroom car now. things change though, maybe they are going to have another couple of runs in it

edit: they have advertised it as having DOCILE racing so they may well be in that case

Just heard that 6-second celica from Aus just did a 193mph trap speed run but no time was given.

I think that be right, but at that speed it had to be a 6sec run.

Well pretty close to a 6 anyways I think they have trapped in the 205-210 range in Aussie though.I think that Gas Celica's PB is a 6.80.

Yes the rayglass ran a 7.04 i think it was at 310kms i put some more results up later.

rayglass did like a 7.04 or something, the aussie did a 7.13, both of them around 310kph.

umm lawtons quad rotar did a 8.02

the C&M supra did a 7.7X

Kris in his little gt starlet did a 11.7X@197kph

I my self was doign 11.2s then broke a CV, left us stranded at the track then we got locked in when i was waiting for a mate to bring me a spare cv. Had to go off road to get out. Lift a few gates off their hinges lol.

results are popping up on other forums.i wasnt there but heres what i can find, some may need to be confirmed/corrected

rayglass ran 7.04@313km

GAS celica got down to 7.13

SLOGSR ran 9.8-9.9 all day (still 1800cc

)

nikki dunlop was running low 9.3/9.4 in her evo 2/3.

DOCILE ran a couple of times, apparently more power than ever but had issues again.read somewhere it lifted the head off the block

lawtons 323 ran 8.01

daneil tyes mazda 323 running in the 8's (8.8?)

dean hargreaves high 8's

RIPS 240z pulling wheelstands all day , they are trying to figure out how to get it stay down, should be some good times in it when sorted. got an 8.8 as it was.

apparently a black supra there running 7.9.

also read someone ran 11.75 in a gt starlet :lol:

thats a lot of fast imports to be running on the same day, wish i was there
