1C Diesel engine, probably T50 gearbox and possibly T series drum rear end, although could have S series.

Yeah, 1.8 diesel.. pretty sure they've got w-series gearboxes? We had one as a rivercar a few years back, after numerous trips and thrashes around the Waimak it held up really well, even after being tied to a Bedford van and bursting a couple of tyres.. didn't die so ended up derbying it! Very, very slow, but what you pay for in speed you get back in reliability and economy, they'd make a perfect daily driver.

1c and 2c identical to 1s and 2s bolt pattern. have a search for threads detailing the conversion. the 3s crank/block has a different offset to the other S's and therefore either need to shave the bellhouse, or space the spigot bearing out so the gearbox input shaft meets it. and starter motor mods if needed etc
