97/98 model bighorns and wizards seem to be the lastest lot wanting engines. Not as bad as the 4M40 in the mitsi challengers. I have supplied engines for ones as late as 2004 build dates.

is the issue with the failure of turbo diesil engines purely a cooling issue created by neglect?
all the 2LT, 1KZT, 4JB1, etc i have had to replace, also had blocked radiators and blocked coolant lines to the turbo.
not sure if it is fair to blame an engine, blame the previous owners
I've been a bad bad boy. I should read the rules and behave before I get spanked by an admin

f#@k you i won't do what ya tell me

I tow my car trailer with my Hiace. 1KZ-TE Super Custom.

And being a van - heaps of room for stuff in the back, and parts are cheap, not that you'll ever need them cause Hiaces do heaps of kms no problem

I use my Mazda 6 for towing the Corolla, perfectly adequate and is still a nice, comfortable, economical car to drive day-to-day. Just have to be careful not to try taking off up a gravel hill with the car behind

Having said that my mate's Patrol with a big turbo on it is the best thing by far I have towed with it is the only vehicle I have driven that accelerated up the Brynderwyns with car and trailer behind instead of slowing down. Is also good stability-wise, you can't feel the trailer behind at all.
We know that four-wheel drive doesn't work in a racing car, and I proved to myself that it doesn't work very well for rallycross. I'm absolutely convinced that it has no future in rallying, either, even if the regulations allowed it. - Roger Clark (rallying legend), circa 1976
