The supra, skyline and batty where seriously quick. The best marks in my books go to the supra considering it was driven from WGN raced and driven home!

Definitely need to get me some slicks for the Levin and upgrade from the semi's. Anyone want to do a group buy or can get some good prices?

Man if you had 17s I reckon I can source a set of used V8 touring car slicks for about $200-300 thats for all 4 aswel I'd have to check though but they would'nt be much more than that.

Funny you should say drive home after I absolutely hammered passed the GTR on the way home as it was parked on a trailer doing 90 kph it was the only time I over took it all day...... l

Lol thats got to be the most satisfying thing...having fun driving home (especially passing a trailer car lol). Not that I've ever left Manfeild in a car that hasn't broken something!

Class B
Neil’s Wheels Cup 4 cylinder turbo, rotaries, 5’s 6’s and 8’s and Diesels

Sticky Signs Cup . Class C
6 cylinder turbo, turbo rotaries 4 WD and above
red car

Manfield - 1:24s
Taupo - Track1 1:53s (road tyres) - Track2 1:22s - Track3 48s (with esses) - Track4 1:58s

Yeah, R&T has a unique class system.

You should actually be in "C" Coryn, as a 6 turbo.

1:17 to beat. The fastest car didn't feature on the results, he got around 1:12 I think.

pc - assume you are talking about the F2, then yes, he did a 1:12:12.

For those who wonder why he didnt get on the results......he was simply there for seat time after making a few changes due to an overheating issue.

His run of 1:12:12 was obtained in a stint of about 8 laps where he was the only one out there....still impressive to see though

Fastest car did feature on the results with a 1:16. (1:18 was the best he managed for R&T Points)

The runs where he did his 1:12's were unofficial.

I can't really see the difference between Class B and C can someone enlighten me.

I no for sure there's more in my car how much who no's but I think definitely a 16 F**K Slicks are good.

The Honda drivers didn't need any excuses... they went very fast.

Fast enough to lead class A :P

I managed to make a complete ass of myself when Coryn was following me and went off at higgins on the first lap trying to drive too fast on cold slicks

Unfortunately I dont think I'll be making any more cool videos of me trying to keep up with Coryn, he's just too damn fast now!

Mate how did the Sunday go????

I still can't believe you did'nt go any quicker than a 22 with slicks I was pretty sure you'd go a fair bit quicker maybe back to 15s and then go with slicks I'm pretty sure you'll find more speed.

With the Slicks I found with the short 3 lap runs I had to start my base pressures higher.I was told that I wanted to reach about 32 psi and they'd be in therre optimal heat range problem being was my start off pressures were about 28 and after 3 laps they were only coming up 1-2 psi so next time I'll start at 30 and see how we go.

The Sunday was great! was having much fun playing with a new 911 amongst other things :P
Had to keep an eye on the mirrors for a 911 Turbo on 315 wide semi slicks tho, man that thing was fast! SR20DET powered Mazda MX5's are also quite quick!

I found after swapping back to the 15's on Sunday I was doing pretty similar lap times but the car behaved completely differently, less grip but soo much more straight line speed. So like you said, I need to get some 15" slicks and I'll be sorted

It was probably that you had too much ballast in your passengers seat lol

Didn't we have about 3 moments on that first lap? Was still much fun and thanks heaps for taking me out

Basically with slicks I have more control of the front and rear of the car in the corners I can get back on the gas at mid corner instead of after mid corner and can carry more speed into a corner also brake later because of the increased grip levels which basically adds up to a faster lap time.On that day my speed-cut was playing up,surprise surprise for those of you that no I've had this problem for a couple of years now so in all 3 straights especially the front and back straights about 2/3rds of the way down speed-cut and about 3/4s of the way down the middle straight. But this week I've got a fix for that and next time out I'm pretty sure there's stiill 1-2 seconds still to be had.

The car to watch will be that GTR when he finally bolts Slicks to that thing I reckon he'll cut a 13 with out to many issue's and will not be surprised if drops a 12 I followed that thing alot and he is driving to the edge of the grip he has with those semi's so with slicks I reckon that thing will be as quick as EVO88u.

OH NO! Eveyone is so much faster than they were when I last went. I'd only come 12th overall with my previous best time :(
I need more practice when I get back to NZ.
