4age Turbo question

Hey, slowly progressing on the project.

Just woundering, where do you guys run your lines off the wastegate, BOV, Boost guage etc off?

20v :)

Cant find any reliable lines :s

run off the intake somewhere, usually if you have custom plenum youll have a breather line, or use your fuel press reg that is where i run my bov from and the w/g off the inlet manifold.

try and keep the FPR line dedicated.
i found with my boost gauge run off it that it fluctuated very badly (enough to make a racket with the needle on the gauge) on half throttle and idle.


i used all the extra nipples on my plenum.

theres heaps of places on a 20v to run those lines, just go for any old vac hose !

wastegate hose off the compressor cover would give more stable boost

yeh i brazd a fitting to intercooler piping straight off turbo, fpr bov and boost gauge are all independent, this is on 16v but will be putting a couple more in smallport manifold for the ecu

hey there just want to know if its easy to turbo a 93 trueno which im thinking you are doing?....me and my cuzn want to do it but i dont know whats involve and what must be done also the parts needed....thank you

"easy" depends on how mechanicaly minded you are, who you know, or how deep your pockers are.

You can do it for $1,200 pretty easily, so its pretty cheap.
