Ouch thats a little steep even for 4wd cars.

Care to say what is included for $100?

Standard 2 power runs and A/F check is usually $50

Method you need to understand that there a costs involved beyond just your dyno run it costs me money to promote this day and hire a dyno $100 cash is still affordable and is not negotiable.

$100 is twice what it costs to put your car on a dayno at any other dyno day... sounds a bit rediculous to me. :?

I do understand there are costs and you run a business.

But for it to be successful you need to realise you are charging double what other places charge. I was simply asking what is included in the $100.

Of course it is affordable, but its like me charging $100 for a WOF when the garage next door will do it for $50 for exactly the same job.. Where do you think the customers will go?

And another point id like to make, why are you passing the costs of promoting etc onto the people getting their cars dynoed.
You are obviously going to try and use the fact there is a dyno day to pull a crowd. Those cars are helping you promote the event, and you still want to charge them extra again?
You're lucky magandturbos market are stupid people who dont realise that even though $100 is affordable you can get exactly the same service and save $50. Otherwise such businesses would go down very fast.
/end rant.

ok well thats the cost, as for the extras will have give aways on the day promo girls and bbq all day, has to cover some of those cars, yes i am using the dyno as a draw card, but why woudn't i? its a new business and i need all the help i can get, you are welcome to come if you want but im not changing the price.

BTW will be a dynapack which is probablly better than you get up the road for $50 anyway

:s... we have dyno days quite often at dyno power. standard rates are $50 for a 2wd and $90 for a 4wd. thats for 1, sumtimes 2 runs if any easy small adjustments can be made with a full printout AND a sausage sizzle lol.

good luck at $100 per run, we get complaints at $50 per run.. but thats just tight-arse tauranga for ya.

Sweet, thats exactly what i wanted to know, what i get! Not that you had extra costs blah blah.

So i assume it is same price for 2WD and 4WD?

If i still had a 4WD id definately go, worth it on a dynapack!

Amen brother! When I first looked at the thread I was shocked. I thought this was a group event, and being a group event it should be cheaper. But if the price ain't changing, goodluck to you :).

EDIT: Only saw your post now TSOOB, ignore what I said..

$100 dollars is all good for dynapack, quite a bit of effort on getting the cars attached to them :P

As Mr Revhead said, if you don't like don't go :P

I should rock down with a 5efe auto wagon and see if it will crank 40kw

Plus should give a good accurate reading compared to the normal 50ty dollar place

Well ordinary dyno, drive on and drive off.

dynapack take wheels off attach dyno etc, more time = more money.
