Which one do I sell ?

Postby BzzzzR » Wed Apr 23, 2008 9:53 pm

Hi all

now that I have my third child on the way I have to upgrade to a people mover , so I need to sell both of my cars . My question is which one will be the best to sell privately?

White 97 Carib bz touring (6sp) 151 000ks straight as an arrow well maintianed, stock except for 16" rims etc

OR

98 BZG Black 191 000ks but VERY well maintianed I have owned it since 110 000 fresh to NZ I have kept every single reciept for all mods -lowered, opened the exhuast up ,leads , etc in short my baby

The trade from my mate at his car yard will be the same for either car but I will only be trading one as I need to get cash from one to get my new form of transport (motorbike :D ) so which one do you think ,would be the best to sell ?

Cheers

Jarrod

hard to say.. both would be approx the same value - I would imagine the BZ-G would appeal to the younger 'boy racers' while the BZ-Touring may be more practical orientated.

Check out trademe for both of the cars and see which ones are selling easily and for what prices etc.

Swap the bits out of the G into the Touring that you really want and keep that. Wagon would be more practical with the kids.

from what I read, he has been offered the same value as a trade for either car, so price's dont matter.

The BZT wagon is still 20V blacktop etc etc, so all the spec of the BZG with a larger boot.

Id say put all the good stuff from the bzg onto the carib and trade the bzg in then sell the carib off privately....id think you'd get more money privatley for the carib as it has lower kms and is 6sp and the caribs arnt as common as the bzgs either.

I would also value the Carib higher. Just push the 6spd transmission, alot of people like the novelty!! Good luck with your sale/children.
