I rather have them improve the backbone. Although my line is 16Mbit, I've only seen it hit 2Mbyte/sec (Full 16Mbit) once.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

Does anyone know if Telstra clear have turned on their south island (south of chch) cable netwok yet?
Cause surely if it makes sense for them to have a 2nd fibre network with the subsidy more will do the same?
& i'm not that up on the whole how the internet actually works & how much backhaul is in place & needed etc, but if more companies decide while they're doing fibre to the home to put some sort of trunk network in, this would mean that the capacity problem would disappear?
