Well, you see, the lawyer is a close family friend of both the victim and I, he knows us both well and believes us, not the police, therefore he is representing my friend for zero cost.

always good to have a lawyer as a close family friend, good luck with your case,

i was serious about that, just park up next to exit of the carpark on a rainy day with the video camera and if its as bad as you say it is all sorts of people will lose traction, (grandma, grandpa, mum and the kids, police!)

No I meant the filming that Solitaire was talking about. It was a subtle joke, but awesome.

All I did was try to defend myself from a psycho who was trying to smash me. I just pushed him off me and he fell and broke his arm. Apparently the police think that u are not allowed to protect urself with even the most minimal of force! The LAW is absolutly stupid! I get treated like a criminal before they have even tried to prove any guilt! Im soo pissed! One aggressive psycho has managed to nearly destroy my life? How the hell can the police justify sending someone to jail that did the minimum to protect myself against somebody with previous violent crime convictions and a history of mental health problems
Im sorry all but the law is never your friend!

Something doesn't add up... did you jump on his arm after 'pushing' him?
What started the psycho trying to 'smash' you?

This all started as me an my bro discussing our stepsons. It became a rather heated argument when my bro started abusing me and my partner and stepson(this happened at his work :( ) Being my brother i didn't backdown or leave. I was rather confused as to why he was being so psycho. Anyway things escalated when i refused to leave and he went to call the police to have me trespassed and removed from the premises(i just couldnt believe he was that psycho) Anyway he decided to try and smash me instead of calling the police, but he did ask his bosses permission first!(his boss said no!) So when he was pushing me and trying to smash me he tried to throw me into a steel post for a vehicle hoist, I reacted to protect my self and pushed him off me just as he was tryin to throw me. He fell over awkardly on his elbow. The shock off his elbow hitting the concrete floor with all his weight on it shattered the main arm bicep bone! Apparently my bro's version has me doing a amazing kung fu technique that was twisting his arm and then he claims i threw a massive punch with my right hand into the tricep area of the arm. But he cant confirm when he heard the bone break, its all apparently a bit hard to remember, but he remembers everything else fine!
by the way before this my bro was my best friend :(
Now i could never forgive him

When you say 'bro', do you mean as in mate, or as in your flesh and blood brother?
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

So here is the result finally: We won, didn't even need representation or a letter from the lawyer in the end. I just wrote a letter and my friend wrote a letter and now it is all sorted. I am stoked. :D

check but there is an actual time frame they deem as unacceptable for loss of traction and what they consider 'intentional'... cant remember what it was but was more than a few seconds :)
