diff conversion's in chch

Postby hsmidy » Wed May 14, 2008 10:01 pm

Hey

so im finally looking at getting my ass end upgraded, so who in chch would ya recommend and what sort of price are they wanting.

im still tossing up between the hilux or the 9' its only in a small car(ta22) so i dont know who well the 9' would fit.

needless to say it has to be strong as it will be taking the abuse of a rather powerfull engine

The 9 inch is quite expensive and heavier you are better off going for the hilux like what I am going to be doing with my RA25.

going price in chch is about 1200 - 1300 unless you know the guy whos doing it,

Royce Clive = really good job and done to perfection but expensive.

the diff shop = have heard really good things about the guy and workmanship and well priced. could also prob do you a deal if you have parts hes after for his cars,

di mule's hookup, if its the same guy im thinking of aka simon, good workmanship and really good price, also he can do brake up grades, about adozen cars are using his diffs and brakes and none have had problems,

Hilux Diffs for Toyotas

Postby dickhead » Thu May 22, 2008 4:33 am

We build Hilux diffs for RWD toyotas. $1600 shortened, setup with brand new discs and pads, silvia cable handbrake calipers, cleaned up and painted. CHCH located. Over a grand cheaper than the diff shop. Have build over 20 and never had a problem. 021 447 014
