Postby tsoob » Wed May 14, 2008 8:03 pm

This is just an idea we are throwing around, please post in this thread if there is some interest as its just an idea at this stage.

I'm not thinking of that one. There's a Silvia one I think she's running just before that.

Yup on the 26th. Track 2.

It's a split drifting / no-drifting day with different sessions for each.

I would attend, but would not take part in the sessions where chumpz is slipslideslidindriftslipslidin into the barriers.

Could be quite keen to get the bat out onto the track though.

Man great attitutes guys, drifter don't hit the walls that often no worse than the guy driving the gtr at super lap, accidents happen in all forms of motorsport

are you trying to say drifters dont crash? even more so at practice sessions?
are you suggesting its perfectly sweet to have people trying to do circuits (or 'grip' racing as most driftards tend to call it  ) whilst people practice thier drifting?

because id really rather not have the guy in front of me kick out his tail whilst i'm getting ready to apex the corner.

"sweet just comin up to this corner, paying attention, gotta get my braking done before the tur- oh wait, no, abandon that, gotta wait for this guy to stop showboatin"

I think its a fair call to suggest that its more likely you'll get involved in an incident when there are drivers trying to slide their cars around the corners though, and if there are people who would rather not run the risk of being on the track at the same time as them then thats fine and you shouldn't be defensive about it.

In any case, tsoob has stated that he meant for the driving styles to be kept seperate, so noone should have a problem with this.
