Powersteering tensioning bracket 4agte
Does anyone here make power steering pump tensioners for FWD 4agte setups with aircon removed?

1st of all, do a search before asking theres heaps of info on here

this is a common problem, and there are many ways of getting round it.
some people just use a 5pk890 belt which fits round the p/s pump and crank perfectly but its a mission to get on.
some people just make up a bracket for the power steering pump to slide on so you can tension it up that way like an alternator.
I used a rwd p/s pump which has a tensioner attached, but it has a slightly different offset to the fwd crank so have had to use a thinner belt to get it to work and the rwd p/s pumps are hard to find.

i use the supercharger tensioner bolt
its 2 bolts one is about 8mm and about 2" long, the other is 10mm and about 1" long
the 10mm one screws into a spare threaded hole on the side of the powersteering pump and use a nut to jam it, and the longer one will push against the block also use a nut to jam it

bah, works a treat, just put it partially on like a bike chain and then crank the engine without starting.
