whats the difference with the GTS MR2

Just wanted to know the difference between the GTS mr2's from the other turbo model? and how can u tell its a GTS

Pretty sure its just options. Mine has a GTS badge, no ABS and the half leather seats (long gone )

You can option a GTS to the same as GT specs except for the retractable power mirrors.

Typically though they had cloth seats, cheaper sound system and sometimes no ABS or Power Steering.

Nope, GTs came in hard top too, and GTSs had leaky T-Tops as well

Oh i see... Always wanted a hard top one, never really was impressed by the wet patch on my shoulder when it rained although i guess thats better then a wet patch on your crotch

My NZ SW20 used to collect water in the roof gutter, chill it, then vent it in a big gush, directly down the back of your neck.

Mine aw11 was a hard top....but water would leak through the roof/windscreen Murphys law dictated that it got especially bad if i was heading on a date, making it kinda awkward when I got out of the car with a wet crotch

I've never had any problems with mine. The rubber is all good. I take good care of it to prevent it from perishing!

only difference a GT-S and GT can have (in a FULLY optioned GT-S) is the GT-S badge and retractable mirrors.
