Drags photos online. Please ignore the jaggies - the full size images do not have jaggies!
I will regenerate the gallery tomorrow and see if I can't lose the jaggies.+

I should say the thumbnail gallery view doesn't appear to display all the photos.. only 100 odd. Clicking through one by one works well :)

What browser/version are you using? :) Opera seems to have some issues... FF and IE7 should be ok.

Very cool!

The photo with me next to a Mazdaspeed sign is funny. I always get confused for an RX7

Thanks :)

Yep all my images are processed in the "digital darkroom", anything from minor colour and lighting correction through to more advanced effects like the dark sky in some of those images :)

Matt good on you for being the chief organiser for this event its no mean feat getting something like this off the ground and running smoothly.

I have a couple of things though.

1. Is there any chance of a change in format. Now I no that you are copying what the yanks are doing but surely we can do better than a auto-cross?????

2. Is there any chance of getting this event setup anywhere else but Auckland.I mean I no of at least a handful of really quality MKIV's that did'nt show because of the fact that this event is just to far for them to come.

I went to the very first Supra-fest in 01 and for the looks of things nothing has changed to freshen it up the same things were done then as they are now.I reckon a change of venue is needed and a multi purpose venue where you run all the events in the same spot over 2 days, well its just a thought I had anyway.

Firefox 2.0.0.14.. Really buggy trying to view the drag racing images. IE seemed to work better - but still strange behaviour.

Problem with that i can imagine is most of the supra population that attended suprafest came from Auckland

So moving it elseware you may loose people from Auckland, in reality how many people will be gained by moving to another city/town? it would become to expensive for the majority

Its incredibly expensive, i alone spent $300 on gas and $330 on 3nights of motel accomidation not including event entry, food, blah blah

Next year we will try and organise more free places for people to sleep.

I hear what your saying about the numbers game and all but I feel with enough organising and notice I reckon a true car enthusiast would actually make the effort to travel for example really with enough notice Taupo is not a huge ask for the Aucklanders surely.

With the costs involved and the further some of us have to come especially our South Island Supra people I reckon it would be a fair ask if the event was moved a little south and its not trying to sound selfish or anything along those lines but fair is fair surely.

But again I guess the organisers will have the final say I would just like to see a little scope with the events and venues and at the moment it seems to be one way traffic its in Auckland end of story.I made the effort in 01 with the first Suprafest and enjoyed meeting alot of new people but I think the event needs a freshen up is all.
