what does everyone do or use to get tar off?

took me about hour to clean all four of my wheels on the weekend, as i have to take them off cause they are a pain. but yeah heaps of little spots of tar that i just couldnt' get off, was using elbow grease and citris cleaner that seems to work well on work vehicle wheels. but not my mags

14x6.5" Rays Engineering Volk Racing 3 piece mesh. Only weigh 5kg without tyre. 2 1/2 inch dish.
Found them at Horopito in winter 2003 before I got my car, stashed them there and went back and got them early 2004 after I got the Mark II.

Pic before Kings installed. Lowered by 50mm, but could go a bit lower but then will have trouble getting jack under engine crossmember.

Ah nice, it'd sit 'right' then at a couple of inches lower :D Seriously sweet car though 8)

I'll post some pics of the new additions to my stack shortly. 13's though.

Racing beat LSR's, they're 3 piece and are probably the lightest set of 17's I've had. Just need to save up for some tires, and then I can fit these and my R33 calipers + BA falcon disks.

I havent taken any pics of my own, but here's another from the auction:

I'm quite a DTM fan had a few sets.
Current being the 157 Evos in bronze on the MR2. 17X8 and 17X9

Also the Z32 got some new wheels on friday DTM Blitz 078 18X8.5 and 18X9.5 looks mint and the 265s on the rear mean plenty of grip.
Haven't got any photos yet due to the rain.

Re-reading this thread has inspired me.

Pics to come of 13x6 Bridgestone Stage 4's, and Advan A3A's 13x6.

Also on the lookout for more oldschool 13's if anyone knows of anything. I figure the car will be more slammable on 13's.
